The DJs who spin independent artists get their flowers too. Every month, every city picks its DJ of the Month — submit the DJ who's been holding independents down in your city, and vote. Anybody can submit: the DJ, an artist, a fan.
🎧 DJ's Hot Picks
The DJs are the industry — radio and the clubs. So every Friday, a panel of DJs gets a say-so: they pick 3 songs that are already hot, and those picks step straight into the Top 20. It's the one exception to the algorithm — and it's capped at 3 a week. The DJs take these records back to their stations and their clubs; after Friday, the algorithm treats a pick like everybody else.
